Liquor Watch Magazine - July 2008

The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon has continued it's current run of reviews by featuring in the latest July edition of Liquor Watch Magazine.  Liquor Watch had this to say about Chalice Bridge and the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon:

"At Chalice Bridge they believe their wine has a distinct ‘terroir’ that they are convinced is the heart and soul of their 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon. The Cabernet Sauvignon comes from south of Margaret River, thus the cooler climate is a major factor in producing characters of blackcurrant, mint and violets. The wine shows aromas of mulberries, while the colour is deep red. You can count on silky tannins and it should only get better with age." Liquor Watch - July 2008

Chalice Bridge Features Highly in Latest Edition of WINEWISE Magazine [7th February 2008]

The following wines featured highly in the latest edition of WINEWISE Magazine, the only truly independent wine magazine providing such a comprehensive coverage of Australian and imported wines for consumers and winemakers alike.

Highly Recommended

2007 Sauvignon Blanc
A fresh, grassy-nettle style that flirts with greenness but delivers excellent varietal flavour lifted by a lively acid finish. Excellent Value.

2007 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
The nose is herbaceous, but not under-ripe, giving off whiffs of nettle and gooseberry. The palate reflects the nose and finishes with crisp acidity. Delicious lunch-time drinking. Excellent Value.

Recommended

2006 Chardonnay
Quite nutty and fresh, with well defined fruit.

2007 Wild Rose
Pink-red. Faint fresh strawberry overtones. The palate is attractively fresh and fruity.
